WHO IS THE PERSON BEHIND THE SCREEN?

My name is Gabriela, an experienced travel planner and the founder of Nomadic Mind Travel. Here, I would love to show you the skills I’ve been gaining while traveling in the last 6 years.

More about my personal life…

I am from Bilbao (North of Spain), a beautiful area which is full of nature, surfing & trekking spots and, of course, outstanding food. I spent most of my childhood in Madrid (capital of Spain) where I studied my bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

Defining myself, I am a very extrovert person, I could be talking for hours, I am restless and with a strong character. My last journey around Asia helped me grow and I was able to get to know myself better so the old Gabriela is not the same Gabriela after taking that plane to Nepal. I’ve never found myself being a super confident and particularly brave person but here I am, after traveling through 32 countries, full of memories and experiences.

How did I start traveling?

I started traveling when I was really young, thanks to my family that motivated me and traveled with me. Afterward, I decided to start traveling on my own to countries such as New Zealand and Tanzania when I was finishing school.

I’ve also had lots of experiences volunteering in places such as Tanzania, Greece, Nepal, and Cambodia. In my blog, you will be able to find out every detail about it, its pros & cons and how to dive into this kind of experiences.

Where am I now & What am I doing?

At the moment, I am living in Australia, between Sydney and some amazing spots on the Gold Coast, in my van.

My full-time job is helping and giving support organizing short- or long-term travels. To whom? To people that either doesn’t feel safe traveling or don’t know how to organize well in order to optimize their journeys.

I love traveling, I find it such an incredible experience where you learn about yourself, about self-care and about people around you.

My journey is timeless, and I want to help you do the same!
